What is your daily spiritual practice?

September 26, 2022 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

What is your daily spiritual practice? Part of mine is picking an oracle card and journaling the message for me.

This Sunday, 2 more jumped out to join the fun.

Faith was the first, Leader jumped in front and Blessings rounded out the message.

Hmmm sounds fabulous. Then I needed to look (as always) at how I might be blocking these energies.

Faith – is easy for me – I absolutely and always believe that God has my back and that life is happening for me vs. against me. Easy one.

Leader – yikes, am I showing up as a leader? I want to and intend to. I am being vulnerable here and asking “Do you see me as a leader? If so, how? If not, how can I show up differently to support you better?” Dang, that was hard to write.

Blessings – I feel we are all connected and the more we share energy, thoughts and intentions, the more the universe showers us all with abundance and blessings.

I am blessed to be a clear channel for divine guidance. If you are looking for direction on your life’s path or next right step, I can help you.

Find a time to chat with me and my guides.

Courage of a Coffee & Tea Set

May 6, 2020 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Parents Coffee Tea SetCourage can be defined in many ways. It is standing for what we know is right even when we are afraid. It can be walking away from an unhealthy situation. It can be advocating for someone else. It may be speaking an uncomfortable truth. At the root of courage is heart centered action.

For me, it is always easiest to take heart centered action from a grounded and centered energy. As I meditated on writing this blog about courage my awareness focused on this coffee and tea set in my living room. I realized I also unconsciously find a focal point to help me direct my energy.

The set had a place of honor on top of the buffet in my parent’s dining area for as long as I can remember. My parents brought it back from Europe where they lived before I was born. It’s been a focal point and energy anchor intuitively for me forever.

As a small child I remember walking through the dining area thinking how pretty that set looked but knowing that touching it would get me in trouble. I would gravitate towards it when life around me got crazy. It was pretty and solid. It helped me feel brave and safe.

It made me happy to see the shiny pieces that looked like a happy family. They all were on a solid foundation together and stayed together no matter what. I gained courage and peace whenever I looked at it.

As a teenager I remember it being there through all the angst of growing up. Again, the set stayed together and shiny. It was my calm in the middle of many storms. I didn’t understand meditation yet but often found myself staring at the set when I needed to make a decision or have a tough conversation.  It allowed me to find the courage in myself to speak and do things that I found scary.

Once I moved out and started my journey on my own the set became a subconscious centering point whenever I returned to my parents’ home. We would gather around the dining table and I always wanted to be facing the set. I would take a breath and look at the set before responding to a difficult question or comment.

As I expanded more into my true self in my life‘s journey there was always something grounding to me about that set sitting on top of the buffet in my parents dining room. When I started my own family and returned to my parents’ home to visit it always brought a smile to my face. The consistency of the set and the never changing location on the buffet gave me comfort, clarity, and direction.

My Tea SetI re-created this set by finding little teapot sets and purchasing them on my own. At some level I knew I was trying to fill a void in my life by bringing these sets into my home, but I didn’t quite understand what it was. I knew that having the sets centered me and helped me move through many challenges along the way. I would stare at them as I found courage to make difficult choices or take new risks.

When we sold my childhood home my sister and I were dividing up belongings between my mom, her, and me. I teared up when I asked for the set. My sister hesitated for a moment, saw my genuine need, and agreed that it was mine. I still didn’t know why I need it and the full power of that set. I just knew that I needed to have the courage to ask for it.

When I brought it to my home and gave it a place of honor in my living room, I realized that my courage and faith had come full circle. I had centered my focus on who I was and my value. The shiny set reflected back a strong woman who confidently connected into divine guidance, trusted it, made choices and took action. I didn’t need the set to see or center my energy or to have courage. I now could value the set for its beauty and memories.

The set still has a place of honor and I often pause near it to enjoy its bright beauty. What I see reflecting back is the value and courage that I put out daily. I show up authentically for me, my children, and my clients.

I have the courage to tap into my own energy to make centered choices and take the right next step. I also know that there is power in staring at a centering point to ground myself and connect even deeper to inner wisdom.

Those five beautiful pieces of shining metal provide confidence, clarity, comfort, courage, and the baseline connection that supports them all.

Soul’s Guidance vs Logic

February 27, 2019 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Have you ever had a strong impulse to do something that logically just doesn’t make sense?

I was driving home from having dinner with a friend the other night when I felt the need to stop at this store along my way. It’s not a place that I typically go and it is probably been at least 10 years since I actually stopped there. It was getting a little late and my logic was saying “Do you need to stop now?  There’s nothing that you really need.”

I have learned to trust my intuition and my Soul‘s guidance so I stopped. As I parked my car, I remembered a man that I felt a connection to the last time I was there and wondered if he still owned the business. I saw him immediately when I walked in the store. As crazy as it sounds, he recognized me too.

I picked up something and went to pay. It turns out that he had sold the store and then recently purchased it back, but he is very rarely there as he owns another store in the town that I recently moved to. That was interesting and I wondered why I really needed to connect with him again.

As I was getting ready to pull back out onto the highway, he came running out of the store to say that he needed to talk to me. He asked me if I knew what soul connections were. I was almost speechless as I did not expect that.

He handed me his card and say that it is nice to see you, that he recognized me and wanted me to know that I’m important. The value of me being seen by someone who I had not encountered in over 10 years and honored for the energetic connection was amazing! As open as I am too soul family support, the impact of meeting this man again and having him have the courage to state the truth opened me up to a whole new level of connection.

It also made me curious if there were places where I may not be fully following my intuitive guidance. I journaled on being in gratitude for the experience and anchoring in this new way of seeing opportunities and having the courage to follow through on them.

Are you aware of any times that you have a missed an opportunity because you didn’t follow your intuition?

Let me know your stories.

Soul Mate Relationships for Clarity

March 26, 2018 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

reason season lifetime

I mentioned in a Facebook Live a few weeks ago that I have opened myself to dating.  This triggered another level of deep healing.  A few days ago, as I cooked dinner I was thinking about soul relationships and realized how they come in so many varieties. Many people just talk about that amazing soulmate or twin flame romantic relationship. What often gets missed in the big picture is the value of all our soul group.

There are so many souls that are here to support us. Sometimes they come into our life for very brief periods of time, one of my favorite sayings is “people come into our life for a reason,  a season,  or a lifetime”. We have these important souls, these important people, that come in to support us where we are in this moment, to help us grow and become stronger and live our life purpose deeper.

I remembered my high school friend who was always there for me and suddenly I heard his voice.  We started spending time together in sixth grade and were friends throughout high school. We lost track of each other after high school but the impact this man had on my life will be with me forever. Mediumship is not a regular energetic connection for me.  He died in the early 80s and tonight was my first personal contact with him.

I heard him say that I am strong, that he recognized my ability to teach, be authentic and make a difference when we were in high school. This is the first person who truly saw me as I am at my core and who I was destined to be; not the person who was worried about rules, what other people think and how to fit in.

Now he is an evolved spirit guide and has been supporting me from another realm.  Today, he let me know that he’s always been there and reinforced my understanding that there are so many beautiful supportive souls in our lives.  These souls float in and out of our lives as it is destined to be.

Do you sometimes feel like I did and struggle with being seen as who you truly are?  Do you want help with getting clear on your life purpose and feeling your own energy?  I would love to support you with a 30-minute Inner Wisdom Clarity Activation Call.  Click HERE to get on my calendar.

Healing Through The Heart: Being Present to our gifts

November 7, 2017 by Carolyn 1 Comment

Finch-dream-symbolMany of you know that I also own a pet care company.  One of my employees had to have emergency surgery a few days ago and as I walked out of my home that night to cover her doggy late night visit a tiny bird flew into my home.  I just knew she was a baby finch.

She floated around the entranceway and landed on the steps.  She looked at me as if to say “What now?” and hopped up five steps cautiously and curiously. We had a sweet moment of connection, happiness and peace.  Then my cat discovered her.

The bird frantically flew around the entranceway and I tried to escort her out and keep my cat in. That did not work so well. Around this point in time the dog started to bark (he was already safely in his crate as I was going out) and my other cat came out and started to also stalk the bird.

I found myself caught up in the chaos of cats chasing bird to the symphony of dog barks.  I lost my connection to presence and became a bit frantic.  I played crazy interference between the cats and the bird.

Then I remembered I can communicate with animals and call on my angels.   So, I took a deep breath, asked the angels for help and promised the bird that I would help her if she would find a place to roost.  A few moments later, the bird settled into a tiny space near the TV. I was able to pick her up gently in a napkin and release her outside.

Peace reigned again …..  The dog settled down, although the cats did give me the stink eye for taking away their toy.

When I returned from my dog visit, I spent more time with the message from my finch friend.  I was not surprised to find that finches are here to remind us of the importance of joy, appreciation, positivity and simplicity.  Also, to add variety to our daily life and enjoy all the milestones in life instead of focusing on the end result.

Finch loves to dance through life and invited me and all of you to have fun and celebrate each moment.

Follow your Heart: And let those who love you do so also

October 24, 2017 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

kyle and me 10-17This blog my loving friends is about being very conscious of what we are asking for. I had the amazing opportunity to spend the weekend in Columbus, OH with my youngest child, Kyle. He is a Jr at OSU. He talked about how much he loves Columbus (for reference I live in Massachusetts). He is happy and loves the way people treat him there, the environment, the weather, etc. He is excited to find a summer internship in Columbus…. Yikes!

I wished for time to slow down and to have more time with him – be careful what you ask for!  I arrived at the airport Sunday night to have my flight delayed so that I would miss my connecting flight to MA. I forgot that I am a powerful manifestor and need to be careful of what I ask for.  So I got to spend another night my my son – at the expense of a client.

I was blessed to stay in his apartment and we had a fun night watching the Patriots and “hanging out”.

As we relaxed instead of exploring, I had time to feel the upcoming change. My heart hurt for a while and then I remembered that I raised him to follow his heart.

A tangible part of me is moving on – I have grown and expanded in exponential ways the past few years – now I am seeing it reflected in my children.

Life is growth – sometimes it is easy – sometimes it hurts. Sometimes we miss a connection and receive a gift.

How can you look at a missed opportunity and find a gift?

Do you trust your intuition? I do

October 3, 2017 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

The belief in oneself and a power greater than ourselves is something that all children are born knowing how to use.We all “know” more than we give ourselves credit for.  We are born intuitive beings.   Often our inner wisdom is taught out of us.   We are trained to follow the guidance of our parents, teachers, religious and community leaders instead of what we know in our hearts to be true.  This is confusing and can cause us to doubt the divine information we receive daily if we open our hearts to it.  Each moment we have the chance to choose what we believe.  Do we believe our hearts or what we are told?   I lived many years not trusting myself and my heart.   I now know that my heart is the truest barometer of truth.

Put your hands over your heart and ask a question.   Does your heart warm?  Does it feel inviting?   If so, then the answer is positive.   If you feel repelled, chilled or uncomfortable then the subject is not good for you.

Practice this daily and you will start to immediately recognize your own intuition and have the power to make choices with deep spiritual guidance.   This will bring peace and ease to your life.

Clairbeing: Being connected to the Source

February 22, 2017 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

In this final segment of the 5-part #Blog series I wrote for The Wellness Universe, Clairbeing pulls all our senses together.  #WUVIP

Clairbeing-Being-Connected-to-the-Source-by-Carolyn-McGee-TheWellnessUniverse-WUVIP-Clairbeing

We are in our final week of the 5 main ways that the Divine sends us messages. Clairvoyance is seeing messages; Clairaudience is listening to direction; Clairsentience is feeling energy and Claircognizance is knowingness.

Clairbeing is the integration of all our intuitive senses.

It is truly living and being in a receiving mode. Clairbeing is BE-ing present to receive the Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, Clairsentient and Claircognizant messages. It is staying in alignment with and open to the energy flow around us.

When I was formally learning about Angel communication the senses I trusted were Clairsentience, followed closely by Claircognizance. I was struggling to connect to and believe the messages I was receiving using my other senses. After the first week, I started to doubt that I would ever be able to see or hear messages. So, the angels blocked my knowingness and ability to feel messages. I felt lost! I didn’t realize how much I depended on those senses to connect with energy and make decisions.

After a brief panic attack, I practiced being in the moment – Clairbeing. I stopped thinking about the way I used to receive messages. I stopped second guessing myself if what I saw and heard was real. I started paying attention to what I felt, knew, saw and heard in each moment. I practiced my Clairvoyance and Clairaudience skills. Without the immediate knowing and feeling, I could see and hear clearer. All Divine information flowed richer and more vibrant. I became aware of how intertwined and connected energy flow is within me and with everything else. Once I proved to myself that I could live in the moment and connect deeply to Divine messages in all ways, my Clairsentience and Claircognizance senses returned. They still are my strongest senses, yet now I have the gift of strong Clairvoyance and Clairaudience also.

Clairbeing is integrating all our energy into the now. It is the sense that we are all one. Clairbeing is being aware. It is knowing when you are pushing versus allowing. Clairbeing is the ability to surrender to what is, versus worrying about what was or what may come.

One of my favorite examples of Clairbeing is a story from Abraham-Hicks: the short version is to imagine yourself in a boat paddling upstream in a river that has lots of rocks and is moving very fast. You are working furiously to get somewhere but are going nowhere. If you turn around and go with the flow, life become so much easier as you are not resisting and you are being fully present to all that is around you. It is easier to see the opportunities along the way as well as the obstacles. This is Clairbeing.

It is acknowledging that the best course of action is to take a nap and reset your energy so that you can allow your intuition to flow and create faster even when you are on a deadline and your ego wants to push through. Or understanding that your senses are heightened and more open to receive when you take a walk or go for a drive.

Clairbeing is understanding the importance of fueling your body with nourishing foods and drinking enough water. Our physical bodies are between 50-65% water and water is highly conductive of energy. When we do not drink adequate water our reception of energetic signals is reduced.

Clairbeing allows us to be truly and completely us. Clairbeing allows us to acknowledge that there is an inner and outer reality. We have a subconscious, conscious, and superconscious aspect of ourselves and they are all divine. It is knowing that there is a gift in every experience and that everyone and everything is a child of God and a part of Divinity.

A beautiful example of Clairbeing was my ability to see my almost ex-husband as a child of God and doing the best he could during our contested divorce. Once I could be present to the moment, to feel his love for our children, I could see the Divine in him. I could be present to his feelings and motivation and not judge what he was doing. It allowed me to receive the guidance I needed to find a resolution that was beneficial to our children.

Clairbeing is the ability to love unconditionally. It is the ability to surrender to the now, to be present and to trust that all is in divine order. It is losing our own identity, boundaries, and judgments about us versus them and me versus the universe.

Clairbeing is acknowledging that we are all one. There is no separation. Clairbeing is living and being connected to the Divine in every moment.
