This past week has been very emotional for me. And very empowering.

As many of you know from my social media posts and the email sent out last week, I recently lost my good friend and mentor Alan Davidson. Alan helped me to powerfully and intentionally step into being the person I am divinely intended to be for myself and for my clients.

That coaching, that support, helped me realize how to live into being my authentic self in all that I do. It enabled me to offer services that help others live into their flow with intuitive decision-making. It also provided me the tools to grieve the physical loss of Alan while finding an empowering way to move forward in my journey with love and joy.

In reflecting on the gift that was Alan, and to honor his memory and my divine purpose, I have opened my calendar to accept a few new clients. My services and abilities have helped many realize their unique talents and live into their personal and professional potential. If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that a close friend and mentor unexpectedly died Easter Sunday. His processes and teachings helped me be present to the grief for now and the future.

I remembered that we are here as a student to learn what we need to teach.

When I met Alan, I struggled with being present to my feelings. I was good at “stuffing” how I felt and acting like all was okay.

I didn’t completely trust my intuition and second guessed my guidance.

I was confused about my life purpose and lacked clarity about my next right step.

Appearances mattered more than reality. I got good at pretending that life was good and I was happy.

Inside, I felt lost.

I had so much trapped anger from events in my childhood, doing a job that didn’t fulfill me and a marriage that contained me instead of encouraged me.

I quipped that when I went home at night, I left my personality at the door.

Then I met my first coach…..She activated a light in my soul to care for me.

I understood that I can’t care for others I love unless I care for me.

I struggled with making decisions and procrastination.

I saw the confusion in my empathetic kids when I didn’t speak how I felt and remembered how I felt when trusted people tried to color the story to create a logical tale.

I DECIDED to live my life as me.

Then I met Alan and he opened me to me with love and mystic badass magic.

He guided me to trust myself at a soul level and accept that I am unique. There may be other intuitive coaches, but none like me. And, that is God’s plan.

So, to honor Alan and my unique relationship with him and myself I am opening my calendar for 5 more private clients. I was planning a lighter schedule until fall to settle into my new home/mini retreat center in NC.

I heard him whisper….Dahlink, do your magic, help your peeps, the settling in will happen in between.

I am a firm believer in living a joyful life and living from a heart-centered space of divine connection. It is from this space that my intuition is the most empowering.

At times, it may feel challenging to know if messages are coming from a place of joy or a place of fear, from a spirit of abundance or thoughts about lack. It may also seem that there is an internal conflict between the guidance coming from our logic and our heart.

It is often helpful to have guidance in discovering and strengthening your intuitive abilities. Having a coach provide tools, support, and insight assists greatly in one’s ability to learn and refine their methods for being aware, present, and connected.

Gardening is one of my passions. For me it is a connection to my family and to my essence, as well as to my soul and my intuitive gifts.

This image was the first graphic used in my new series of weekly emails starting in September of last year. This saying represents the magic of our ability to call on that divine connection at any time and always in our lives.

My life is guided by the messages I receive when I tune into my intuition, listen, trust and act. Time and time again my intuition has provided direction that lead me into living a more connected and authentic life, one which resonates with my soul’s purpose.

Years ago, I wrote a blog about an angel windchime that represented to me my journey towards connecting with my inner divine. That windchime provided a visual for me that served to inspire me and remind me that I am connected and protected.

Last week, a client showed me a gemstone shaped like a heart that she held on to during our coaching session. She uses that stone to meditate and keeps it on her desk to provide physical symbolism of following her own heart song and messages.

What type of physical object do you use as a connection to spirit? How does it help you with your journey?

If you have not yet found your “spirit symbol”, try setting the intention of having your heart guide you to something meaningful to you. Ask spirit to help you feel your way to your physical symbol.

Hello everyone. I am Carolyn McGee, Intuitive Coach, Teacher and Healer. I am here for your Tip of the Week. It is the week of April 12th, 2020 and for those of you who celebrate it is Easter. I am also Catholic, so it is a special day for me and the energy this week does feel very similar. So, I am going to use my background as well as my intuition to bring the message forward for you for this week.

What I am feeling is that this is a new beginning with the energy that we’ve had with the pandemic, the sheltering in place and social distancing. Until now, there’s been a lot of disconnect energy. I know that there’s a lot of people are trying to keep engaged by using Zoom, by using FaceTime. In some ways it has actually brought us closer together. Extended families are doing regular meetings where they’re all together and exchanging ideas.

My kids the other night did a trivia night with their cousins and it was a lot of fun for them to interact, engage and spend time with them. They’re all young adults and they don’t get to see each other as they live all over the country. So, it was a beautiful gift. It feels so important for us to focus on the positive.

I was guided to use the Ascended Masters deck and the card that I pulled for us is Crystals.

What I want you to notice in this card is the magic in it, the support and also the movement. You can see there’s a lot of water behind her, at least it looks like water to me. And a lot of growth. So that supports what we’re moving into: we are moving out of that old paradigm of the unhealthy, divine masculine.

It’s not even really divine masculine. It’s the masculine that has held us down, that has made us be competitive, that has forced us to not support each other, to not open up our hearts and not collaborate.

We are now, especially because of the social distancing, are pining for our true essences. Some of us have had a lot more time to meditate. We are spending more time either by ourselves completely or in smaller groups of people. We have more down downtime.

A friend of mine on social media recently posted that she has started doing paint by numbers because it gives her an opportunity to sooth her brain. It becomes a meditative exercise for her. And I loved the idea so much that I ordered one. I will keep you guys posted on how I do once I receive it. Anything that we can do to drop back into that creative aspect of ourselves to really center our energy with creative collaboration is positive.

Another thing that’s come out for me throughout this time is I was asked to be in a collaborative book. It is going to be released at the end of this month and it is 25 healers teaching about a modality that they use. We each tell our own personal story and then we teach a healing tool that can help you at home. It is something you can actually use yourself to help center your energy or heal yourself during these stressful times. I’m really excited about that.

It feels like all these opportunities have come out of this time when it feels dark, it’s so uncertain and there is a lot of loss. There’s loss of life, but there’s also loss in the connection of people. The way we used to do things, that the paradigm of going into an office and doing things in a certain way, there’s a loss associated with that.

There’s a big economic loss that that’s real, that we’re going to need to allow creativity to flow through us so that we can come back in a new and better way. And that’s what it’s all about. Doesn’t that feel better to say that you’re stepping more into something? So it’s not so much focusing on the loss, it’s really stepping into your creativity, your ability to connect and the opportunities that are being presented to us. So please do connect.
