Trust Your Intuition

May 3, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Trust Your IntuitionDo you ever experience those moments when you are not sure if the guidance you are receiving is correct? Especially if you sense following it might be painful? And then you begin to question if you are really connected to your divine intuition?

Sometimes following our internal voice will guide us to actions that result in some painful moments as part of our evolutionary soul journey. Our angels and guides love us enough to allow our soul to experience whatever will bring the highest healing and transformation the fastest – and sometimes it hurts!

I realize that this concept may seem a little confusing, almost counter-intuitive at first. But believe me, this guidance is in line with our highest good, and trusting it will help us move towards that goal with greater flow and ease.

I have experienced this gift myself, and I wrote an article about it a few years ago. The article, “Following Your Intuition Even When It’s Painful”, can be found here in The Wellness Universe archives.

Trusting your intuition is the way to living your highest purpose. Allowing yourself to do so even in moments of emotional discomfort will return gifts of learning and soulful growth in support of your evolution.

I am here to further discuss this with you. You can set up a time to meet with me here.

Let me help you step into your power.

April 26, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

This past week has been very emotional for me. And very empowering.

As many of you know from my social media posts and the email sent out last week, I recently lost my good friend and mentor Alan Davidson. Alan helped me to powerfully and intentionally step into being the person I am divinely intended to be for myself and for my clients.

That coaching, that support, helped me realize how to live into being my authentic self in all that I do. It enabled me to offer services that help others live into their flow with intuitive decision-making. It also provided me the tools to grieve the physical loss of Alan while finding an empowering way to move forward in my journey with love and joy.

In reflecting on the gift that was Alan, and to honor his memory and my divine purpose, I have opened my calendar to accept a few new clients. My services and abilities have helped many realize their unique talents and live into their personal and professional potential. You can read some of their testimonials here and you can set up some time on my calendar here.

You can also reach out to me at carolyn@carolynmcgee.com if you have any requests, feedback, or would like to contact me directly.

I invite you to let me help you step into your power.

Honoring Alan Davidson

April 19, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Honoring Alan DavidsonIf you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that a close friend and mentor unexpectedly died Easter Sunday. His processes and teachings helped me be present to the grief for now and the future.

I remembered that we are here as a student to learn what we need to teach.

When I met Alan, I struggled with being present to my feelings. I was good at “stuffing” how I felt and acting like all was okay.

I didn’t completely trust my intuition and second guessed my guidance.

I was confused about my life purpose and lacked clarity about my next right step.

Appearances mattered more than reality. I got good at pretending that life was good and I was happy.

Inside, I felt lost.

I had so much trapped anger from events in my childhood, doing a job that didn’t fulfill me and a marriage that contained me instead of encouraged me.

I quipped that when I went home at night, I left my personality at the door.

Then I met my first coach…..She activated a light in my soul to care for me.

I understood that I can’t care for others I love unless I care for me.

I struggled with making decisions and procrastination.

I saw the confusion in my empathetic kids when I didn’t speak how I felt and remembered how I felt when trusted people tried to color the story to create a logical tale.

I DECIDED to live my life as me.

Then I met Alan and he opened me to me with love and mystic badass magic.

He guided me to trust myself at a soul level and accept that I am unique. There may be other intuitive coaches, but none like me. And, that is God’s plan.

So, to honor Alan and my unique relationship with him and myself I am opening my calendar for 5 more private clients. I was planning a lighter schedule until fall to settle into my new home/mini retreat center in NC.

I heard him whisper….Dahlink, do your magic, help your peeps, the settling in will happen in between.

So if you feel a pull to chat about using your divine intuition to become a queen of decision making and releasing the karma, ancestral, family baggage of being good vs right, then let me help you step into your power.

Step into your next right step and step up to you by scheduling a time to chat with me HERE.

Making it easier to receive our intuitive messages.

April 12, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

I am a firm believer in living a joyful life and living from a heart-centered space of divine connection. It is from this space that my intuition is the most empowering.

At times, it may feel challenging to know if messages are coming from a place of joy or a place of fear, from a spirit of abundance or thoughts about lack. It may also seem that there is an internal conflict between the guidance coming from our logic and our heart.

It is often helpful to have guidance in discovering and strengthening your intuitive abilities. Having a coach provide tools, support, and insight assists greatly in one’s ability to learn and refine their methods for being aware, present, and connected.

I recently wrote an article about how following my divine guidance led me to my new home and adventures awaiting me. The article, “When Logic and Divine Guidance Don’t Play Nice” can be read in its entirety when you subscribe to Aspire Magazine, the premiere inspirational digital magazine for women. What holds you in your energetic space and allows you to flourish as your authentic self?

April 5, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Gardening is one of my passions. For me it is a connection to my family and to my essence, as well as to my soul and my intuitive gifts.

My article about how creating a garden, intentionally connecting with nature and working in the dirt, holds me in an energetic space that empowers me to be divinely connected and nourished at a soul level was published in Spirit of Change Magazine. Your intuition is your superpower.

March 29, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Your intuition is your superpower. This image was the first graphic used in my new series of weekly emails starting in September of last year. This saying represents the magic of our ability to call on that divine connection at any time and always in our lives.

My life is guided by the messages I receive when I tune into my intuition, listen, trust and act. Time and time again my intuition has provided direction that lead me into living a more connected and authentic life, one which resonates with my soul’s purpose.

It is my superpower. And your intuition is your superpower.

I have used coaches to help me refine my intuition and my divine connection. They have provided insight into personal blocks and helped me find my way of being aware and present to this special gift. We all come here to learn what we need to teach.

And, I have coached many as well, holding the space for the beautiful transformations that my clients experience when they sharpen their ability to live in the flow.

I am here for you if you are ready to work with your intuition and your life purpose journey. You can schedule a conversation to determine if I am the right guide to help you tap into your intuition and make/act on empowered decisions.  Click HERE to fill out a short questionnaire and get on my calendar.

What type of physical object do you use as a connection to spirit?

March 22, 2021 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

What type of physical object do you use as a connection to spirit?Years ago, I wrote a blog about an angel windchime that represented to me my journey towards connecting with my inner divine. That windchime provided a visual for me that served to inspire me and remind me that I am connected and protected. Last week, a client showed me a gemstone shaped like a heart that she held on to during our coaching session. She uses that stone to meditate and keeps it on her desk to provide physical symbolism of following her own heart song and messages. What type of physical object do you use as a connection to spirit? How does it help you with your journey? If you have not yet found your “spirit symbol”, try setting the intention of having your heart guide you to something meaningful to you. Ask spirit to help you feel your way to your physical symbol. If you would like help, read the article here. Or schedule a session with me here.    You can also reach out to me at carolyn@carolynmcgee.com if you have any requests, feedback, or would like to contact me directly.

Courage of a Coffee & Tea Set

May 6, 2020 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

Parents Coffee Tea SetCourage can be defined in many ways. It is standing for what we know is right even when we are afraid. It can be walking away from an unhealthy situation. It can be advocating for someone else. It may be speaking an uncomfortable truth. At the root of courage is heart centered action.

For me, it is always easiest to take heart centered action from a grounded and centered energy. As I meditated on writing this blog about courage my awareness focused on this coffee and tea set in my living room. I realized I also unconsciously find a focal point to help me direct my energy.

The set had a place of honor on top of the buffet in my parent’s dining area for as long as I can remember. My parents brought it back from Europe where they lived before I was born. It’s been a focal point and energy anchor intuitively for me forever.

As a small child I remember walking through the dining area thinking how pretty that set looked but knowing that touching it would get me in trouble. I would gravitate towards it when life around me got crazy. It was pretty and solid. It helped me feel brave and safe.

It made me happy to see the shiny pieces that looked like a happy family. They all were on a solid foundation together and stayed together no matter what. I gained courage and peace whenever I looked at it.

As a teenager I remember it being there through all the angst of growing up. Again, the set stayed together and shiny. It was my calm in the middle of many storms. I didn’t understand meditation yet but often found myself staring at the set when I needed to make a decision or have a tough conversation.  It allowed me to find the courage in myself to speak and do things that I found scary.

Once I moved out and started my journey on my own the set became a subconscious centering point whenever I returned to my parents’ home. We would gather around the dining table and I always wanted to be facing the set. I would take a breath and look at the set before responding to a difficult question or comment.

As I expanded more into my true self in my life‘s journey there was always something grounding to me about that set sitting on top of the buffet in my parents dining room. When I started my own family and returned to my parents’ home to visit it always brought a smile to my face. The consistency of the set and the never changing location on the buffet gave me comfort, clarity, and direction.

My Tea SetI re-created this set by finding little teapot sets and purchasing them on my own. At some level I knew I was trying to fill a void in my life by bringing these sets into my home, but I didn’t quite understand what it was. I knew that having the sets centered me and helped me move through many challenges along the way. I would stare at them as I found courage to make difficult choices or take new risks.

When we sold my childhood home my sister and I were dividing up belongings between my mom, her, and me. I teared up when I asked for the set. My sister hesitated for a moment, saw my genuine need, and agreed that it was mine. I still didn’t know why I need it and the full power of that set. I just knew that I needed to have the courage to ask for it.

When I brought it to my home and gave it a place of honor in my living room, I realized that my courage and faith had come full circle. I had centered my focus on who I was and my value. The shiny set reflected back a strong woman who confidently connected into divine guidance, trusted it, made choices and took action. I didn’t need the set to see or center my energy or to have courage. I now could value the set for its beauty and memories.

The set still has a place of honor and I often pause near it to enjoy its bright beauty. What I see reflecting back is the value and courage that I put out daily. I show up authentically for me, my children, and my clients.

I have the courage to tap into my own energy to make centered choices and take the right next step. I also know that there is power in staring at a centering point to ground myself and connect even deeper to inner wisdom.

Those five beautiful pieces of shining metal provide confidence, clarity, comfort, courage, and the baseline connection that supports them all.
